I have been flowing the Florida Gators for close to 50 years and my father for close to 80. My family has never seen an athlete move a school or state the way you have. Your family did a great job of helping to make you a very grounded person. It would be so easy to succumb to this world but God gives us something to cling to when the world is getting a little to close for comfort. You do not know how many people have come to accept Jesus Christ because of you. I love that you wear bible verses as part of your eye black. Some of them I know but others I do not but have heard of. But anyway I always go get my bible to see what you are say that day. Keep up the tremendous and people will say what’s different about this person.

Your heartbreak on Saturday was shared by many. Although I’m a Bama fan, for the past four years, I’ve applauded your influence on your team, your school, and scores you’ll never appreciate. If not for your black out, how else would Bible verses be read on national TV?! God has gifted you in many ways and you’ll continue to do great things as you follow the path He lays in front of you. Thank you for being a great representative of the Gator Nation and, above that, of Christ. No doubt you will be blessed in your future because of your actions here at UF. Unlike so many things that cast a bad light on Christians, you made it “cool” to be one by spreading the word and keeping your faith. You embody one of my favorite sayings: “Don’t just see the darkness, be the Light.”

I came in as a freshman when you did, so I am lucky enough to tell my kids that I witnessed firsthand the greatest run in UF history with two national championships and a Heisman Trophy winner.
