    Tim,

Thanks for all that you have given. You have shown the nation what a true Christian should be like and have inspired fellow Christians to follow in your lead. For that, there are no words of gratitude that seem adequate.

    In His name,
    Amanda

Tim, you have inspired me in so many ways. Nothing to do with football though, i’m a noles fan. But you are my hero. You have done so many things for my community too. As most of you saw the video about taylor haugen on espn college game day.. i am from niceville. his death effected my community greatly. Taylor was an amazing guy, just like tim. He looked up to Tim so much. The fact that Tim wears that bracelet makes me soo happy. For a while i have been losing hope and i have been straying away from my faith, but Tim has really inspired me. Looking at guys like this make me want to be a better person because he instills such hope and happiness in so many people. For one person to do that is amazing, thank you so much.

Tim, You will always be remembered as the greatest Fla. Gator ever !!!! Your accomplishments on the field as well as those off the field, speak volumes about the kind of man you are. Your excitement, fire, and drive during the games made my heart skip a beat and swell with pride. You inspired your teammates and were an example for all of us. I bleed orange and blue and have been cheering FOR you and WITH you for every game. You will be missed in the Swamp, but I’m sure you will have wonderful future no matter where it leads. Thanks for the memories and God Bless You….Sharon

    Timmy,
Please know that you have brought four years of great pride and enjoyment to a die-hard Gator fan. When I went to UF, it was considered a winning season if we beat ANYONE! So you’ve spoiled me by your excellence, which isnt a bad thing. My heart breaks for you, though. This just isn’t the way your storybook college career should have come to an (almost) end. But all of your successes ARE what everyone, including me, will remember and this will be just a small footnote. You are so young and have so many more wonderful things to accomplish in the years ahead. So, hold your head high, and Go Gators forever!

    Tim,

I tailgate with a group at Florida games that includes Dr. Jeff Park, Dr. John Long, Gale Lemerand, and numerous others. We have been very fortunate to have your mom and dad at almost every home game join us. We know they will be back, but you will be sorely missed. Senior Day at Florida Field was a tough scene for all of the Gator Nation watching you exit the tunnel for the final time. All of us in the “Gator Nation” that have been there with you for the past four seasons wish you nothing but success in all of your future endeavors.

    Best Wishes and God Bless.

    Rob

You have an amazing life ahead of you, and I am not even talking about your NFL career, to think of the millions of people you introduced to the Lord and the millions more to come makes any Christian excited!

I think it was amazing in your post-game interview when you were asked about Taylor Haugen, and you made everyone realize that although you were upset about losing, football was just a game compared to all the bigger things in life!

Real men bring a perfect regular season to UF. Real men win the Heisman. Real men win 2 national championships. Real men make legacies. And yes, real men even cry. It marked the end to a Tebow Dynasty. If you make fun of Tebow for crying, then really, you’re just making fun of someone who has more class, courage, respect, will power, and heart, than any of us could ever dream to have. Go Gators.

Tebow has a following, and a culture. He embodies strength, he embodies power. He is a symbol used by gator fans, whether or not they are a member of the UF community. He stands for good, he stands for persevering.

He doesn’t judge you, you shouldn’t judge him. Does God not teach to not judge thy neighbor? All he does is love, even in the face of many others who might hate.

The man is a legend. To affect the amount of people he has is near impossible. He is a celebrity. Thats right, a celebrity. He deserves it.
For those of you to whom this applies, stop hating, and respect the man for who he is. A mensch, a saint, a legend.

Thank you Tebow, for bringing me the best years any college kid could ever ask for.

Whatever you do with your life, i know you will be a great man forever.
