We have forgiven those who hurt us, but since then have not been able to find a church where we felt God’s will was being performed. I really appreciate your passion and drive for Football. The awards and championships are just indicators of that. More so I really respect your commitment to following Christ and to being a role-model by standing up for your values. In a world where pop stars stand up and thank God for an award in one breath, and in the next are posting nude pictures online or getting arrested for domestic violence, your standing behind your statement of Faith speaks volumes. Our daughter graduated from UF this past May; so we’ve watched you give so much to the Gator Nation and the world. It now feels like a son in our family is graduating. Thank you for touching the hearts of so many as we look forward to future memories; possibly in football, but definitely future memories of your wonderful community service and your faith based life. I have looked forward each week to your bible study via eye black. Here’s a verse for You: 1 Timothy 4:12 “Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”
