As a graduating senior, I look back on my 4 years at UF and feel immensely blessed. Beyond having the opportunity to get a great education, I was able to witness firsthand the most prolific 4 years any college athletics program has ever experienced. While it was great to celebrate 2 national championships and a Heisman trophy, I am most thankful for the moments in between when watching you and the gators helped bring my family closer together. The desire to share little tidbits about gator football often catalyzed hour long phone conversations, helping to keep me connected with my family despite being hours away from home. I don’t know if that would have been possible without you being such a positive face for the gators. In gloomy times, you have reminded people of the importance of selflessness and hard work. You example has made me want to be a person and work towards a stronger faith. I pray for you to succeed at the next level and bring your message to a new fanbase.

I just wanted to say thanks for all you’ve done for both the football team and the university as a whole. You’ve really represented us well. As an out-of-state student, I had a hard time deciding between UF and another school. After being here for 2 years, I know I made the right choice, and you definitely played a part in that. I like to say Thanks to Tim for sharing his Faith to others. I’ll remember Tebow for, sharing bible verses during Florida football game. I became his fan 12-8-07 Heisman Awards night. I grew up going to Gator games and functions with my parents for many years and love the Gators and UF. My father, Virgil Howell, liked to say that he”bled Orange and Blue.” We lost him 3 years ago to lymphoma, but I know he’s watching and proud of you and your teamates.

I, along with many others I’m sure, want to thank you for the exceptional job you have done at UF on the field. It goes without saying that you contributed a great deal to the Gators.
More importantly, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your great witness. Your love of Christ is evident by not only your words, but by your actions-how you conduct yourself on& off the field.

I pray God gives you the strength and courage to continue testifying to the world that Christians can be successful and well to do in life. Your life shows that God wants us to be blessed, so that we can take that blessing and use it to bless others. I see that in how you live your life. It encourages me, and I’m sure others as well.

God gave you 2 gifts-the talent to play great football. The other gift is being a light and spreading the Gospel. There is so much more left for you to do. Stay strong and focused-don’t let the “world” pull you away from what is most important.

Every time you took the field delivering Gods message on you’re face I ran to my Bible to see the words. You our a true blessing to you’re parents and the Gators. I have the impression that because of your life, on and off the field, many thousands still in formative years, became exposed to the significance of life style choices they otherwise might never before have considered, much less understood—and that makes me feel good about both nations.

So many good memories I have had here and I believe both I and Tebow have changed a lot after these years. For the past three years you have been the face of the University of Florida, and in the day and age of Tiger Woods, Michael Vick, and Kobe Bryant you have never faltered in this responsibility.
