I can’t express into words what I feel for this young man. I remember watching him for the first time against LSU in 2007…he was incredible. He was a bull! He did everything! He was so full of passion, excitement, determination and athleticism, and his grin and love for the game was infectious. As a mother of a 14 year old football playing son, watching Tim was like watching my son. When you have a son at this age, finding a role model other than his father is hard to do nowadays. So many athletes choose to go the road to ruin in terms of their self worth, and their personal lives. To have a many upfront and honest about his Christianity, his love for his family, his loyalty to his family, school and faith…well, what else could a mom want? I have so enjoyed the past three years of college football, something I was just a casual fan of. When I found Tim, I became a fan for life. I will follow you wherever you end up, Tim. I wish you joy, happiness, success and love in your life. You surely deserve it all, for what you have given all of us, and continue to give to those less fortunate than you. God Bless you Tim, and know that a family in Warner Robins, Georgia thinks you are just fabulous and are all very proud of you.

Thanks for giving me words of encouragement and inspiration each week with your scripture verses. I looked forward to every game. My bible no longer sits closed on my night stand. I open and read scripture again. It took me 5 years to turn back to the Lord. You showed me what it means to be a good Christian again. As a woman, I am not in the norm to enjoy football as much as I do, and play quarterback for a ladies team when I did, so I love and enjoy the game as much as any man does.
