First of all I wanted to thank you for being yourself. You are an amazing inspiration to people of all ages races and even non-Gator fans. Thank you for not being afraid to share your Christian beliefs and witness to others. You carry yourself with such dignity and set an excellent example for children and young people, who are lucky to even know who you are. LSU FAN here… Yes believe it or not there quite a few LSU fans that follow you and support you. I followed Peyton Manning from Tennesse to the Colts b/c of his skills and on the field integrity; I haven’t felt this way about another football player until now; watching you with your integrity and love for the game has really be a pleasure to watch.

JERM 29:11 – I know you know t his scripture and God does have plan rather that be football or something else – I know you will be successful at whatever you do. If it is football I will follow you through the NFL just as I am doing with Peyton Manning!!!

Thank you for everything you have meant to Gator Nation over the past four years! You have been an inspiration both on and off the field, and your impact on Gator Nation and college football as a whole has gone far beyond winning football games. Please never for an instant think you let anyone down. This season may not have ended exactly the way you wanted it to, but that does NOT in any way diminish the accomplishments you and the rest of the senior class have made over the past four years. You have achieved so many amazing things, and you are one of the best and most loved college football players in history. You are an incredible football player and an incredible human being. Although I’m only a freshman at UF this year, I have followed the Gators my entire life, and I must say that watching you lead the team these past three years (and your famous surges on the line as a freshman) has been some of the most fun I’ve had watching football ever. As a member of the Marching Band, I was able to see you perform this season week in and week out, something I am truly grateful for.

This season you and the team, even in all your success, have faced unreasonable opposition from around the nation, but the saddest thing was the doubt some who call themselves members of the Gator Nation voiced so often this season. Please know that these sentiments are not shared by true Gators. We will always be proud of what you accomplished. We will always be grateful for every second you put in here. We will always look back to the good ole days, with you, Riley Cooper, Aaron Hernandez, Percy Harvin, Louis Murphy, Brandon Spikes, and everyone else on the team these past few years.

Even after the loss Saturday, I started yelling/singing “It’s Great to be a Florida Gator,” because whether we win or lose, as you’ve shown us, the University of Florida stands for so much more than that. The fact that you go out having accomplished so much, though, is merely a testament to all you’ve given since you arrived at Gainesville not so long ago. Congratulations too on all of the awards you’ve received. You deserve every one.

On and off the field, you are an inspiration to many and a role model for all. Thanks once more for everything you and your teammates have given the University and the community these past few years. Your deeds will not be forgotten.

Wishing you the best in life and in the NFL, though sorry to lose you to it,

All my co-workers, friends and family want to wish you all the best in your future and thank you for being such a great leader and football player. Just think about it, a new word has been coined in your name, “tebowesque” — when another quarterback attempts runs or plays that you have done so well. Amazing! But more than that, all the lives you have touched and influenced by being such a good example and leader, means more than any move on the football field.
